Timing is not the problem. I don't start my swing early, or open up my hips too early. I just seem to get my hips and shoulders ahead of the rest of my body, but I'm not sure exactly how. I still think I use too much of my backside leg. Or maybe I'm just too focused on explosive hip rotation-I dunno, but I don't start my swing too early or late, I'm well balanced, head only moves at contact when the hips and shoulders get ahead of the swing.
