i've got two drills for you:

1. hitting off a TEE- have the hitter hit the ball and after contact without moving, reach down with their back hand and touch the top of the TEE. But, they aren't allowed to look up to where the ball goes until they touch the TEE.

2. during front toss, put a bat weight, or a batting glove, or whatever you want- about a foot in front of the plate towards the pitcher. After contact, the hitter keeps his head down and looks at that object and focuses on it before looking up.
