THT & BHT on inside and outside pitches

Posted by: Andrew (drog29@aim.com) on Fri Dec 30 10:43:31 2005

I read where Jack talks about how the initiation of the swing changes slightly depending on pitch location. To my understanding this is to get the bat head on a proper swing plane. He also talks about how there is more THT applied on outside pitches. Does this mean that there is more BHT on inside piches? Is there the same amount of BHT and THT on pitches down the middle? Or, is more THT applied on outside pitches because it is further from the body, therefore the same amount of THT and BHT is applied on pitches down the middle and inside because they are closer to the body? I hope this makes sense. Thanks for your time.
