Guys is the MLB don't need hitting coaches. They could hit if they had you teaching them...Their knowledge is severely lacking.

With the emergence of better film and video clips, more instructors are studying film and finding what is the truth about the swing. I should know. I was teaching the "other" way" until I started looking at film.

So Scott, since you've obviously never studied any film, I'll give you some type of resource. Youthbaseballcoaching.com/swings.html. Pick any clip. Find any clip where the hands move straight at the ball, or any other principle you teach. Just one. This is no trend, Scotty. Lau was a trend.

I, like many others here, have not listed my credentials, because they don't mean squat on a message board. Content of your post is all that matters. If you must know, I played pro ball and am currently a College head coach. I also make a living giving private instruction, running circles around the "down to the ball" guys like yourself.

This debate could go on and on, you seem determined to get the last word. For the last time, this is a board for discussing swing mechanics. You have yet to post your idea of how the batis swung, or what you think is incorrect about rotational mechanics. We understand that most MLB instructors have a different philosophy. But that's changing.

By the way, sufficive is NOT a word. Especially the way you tried to use it.

> Professional hitting instructors, (people who's livelyhood depends on their ablity to get guys to hit) Guys in the MLB organization…how about big time Division I head coaches or DI hitting coaches...whom adhears to this philosophy of hitting? A simple list would be sufficive for me...
