I'm just pointing out that for Ted Williams to say that pitchers were dumb is stupid because he didn't even come close to perfection (noy even halfway) against those so called "dumb" pitchers. That's like a student saying a test is easy and then failing the test. Apparently the pitchers weren't so dumb if they managed to get Williams out over 60 percent of the time. I just hate condescension, and that statement is purely condescending.
