Kurt,

You state that hitters have had success with both methods, and that some take the "A to C pathway". Could you please provide and example of such a hitter in the MLB, or, better yet, provide video...

Also, one amusing thing about the shortstroke demo video. Take another look at the long swing vs. the short swing demo. The "long" swing gets to the ball at the exact same time, and actually overtakes the "short" swing in the follow-thru, indicating greater batspeed. Again, the shortest path is NOT the most efficient path when swinging a bat. There are no straight lines in the swing.
