Re: Question for Jack

>>> Is the lead arm supposed to remain fully extended across the chest throughout the entire swing? Because I feel that this may be slowing my batspeed, as it limits the amount of torque I can generate (no room!) So, what exactly is the role and positioning of the arms in the swing?

Also, I keep slightly more weight on my back foot than my front, and sometimes I feel that this may be the reason for the occasional loop in my swing. My back also arcs out and slows batspeed, and I feel that the fact that I keep more weight on my back leg than my front may be the cause. Am I correct? And how do I fix this? <<<

Hi Joe

Joe it seems like you are having more than your fair share of problems finding mechanics that will work for you. I really do not think I can be of much help without actually seeing your swing. Why don’t you send me a videotape of your swing and then I can show you the correct mechanics.
