You merely conclude that any swing that has a "go," tilt and follow through is a proper swing. You make unsubstantiated statements, such as tilt is more powerful than rotation, and the shoulders don't rotate. Proof, theory and/or video evidence supporting your position? Of course not.

He basically thinks rotational mechanics makes hitters "spin off" the ball which is not the case at all. By the way if you tell hitters to push with the rear foot (which is ridiculous and completely wrong) then that is going to lead to hitters leaking forward too much in their swing. The worse part is where he swears up and down the shoulders do not rotate and they clearly do every time.
Hi,
I downloaded the piece and will read it later. I did not see Nyman's review so I can't comment on it, although on BB he said he might repost the information.
I will say that rotation is over rated. As a lefty you can "rotate" more because many of the pitches are thrown right into your wheel house, coming from a righty pitcher.
There is some truth in Teacherman's review, the way he presents the information might not be the best way.
For example, his "go" would be close to the kinetic link (bat lag), shoulders have yet to turn.
And he brings up an issue, that I have found out to be very true, but I would not discuss it on a hitting website or message board.
