Re: BatSpeed.com helped my Kate

>>> MR. MANKIN, . The computer like the softball swing is not easy for me to understand but if I work at it for a couple more years I just might get it. I was writing to say that Kate was excepted at Towson University in Maryland. That is division 1 which is what I wanted for her. The coach is very sharpe and runs a class A practice. The field is tremendous. There are four girls on the team from Ca. and another two from Arizona. The coach wants Kate to play ss and that is fine with me,but at 5'6" & 125 lbs she is a heck of a catcher. We have been working on the inward turn, and the wrist droop is a thing of the past. She really has been able to incorporate very well the corrections you suggested with her swing. I did buy the setpro radar and her bat speed with your mechanics is knocking on the 80 mph door. If there are any further tapes that you are putting together or any other suggestions as to what to read or watch thaat you feel wouldbe worthwhile, please let me know. Once again, thank you for your help and consideration. Thank goodness someone out their did know what they were looking at. Also ,Marisa has been accepted at two division 2 schools that want her to play but she is still looking to get into a division 1 school.
Sincerely, Larry Briody <<<

Congratulation Kate & Larry

I think Towson University has made a very wise choice. --- Larry, for a guy who claims; “the softball swing is not easy for me to understand,” you did a superb job coaching the girls. Kate, let us know from time to time how you are doing and tell Marisa we are pulling for her.
