Tim, No one pulls off 56 w/ ease, but think about this,after Joe D. hit those 56 he hit out to Keltner at third and to Boureau at short. The next night he's up against Feller and hits in another 16 straight.Yeah w/out those 2 outs previous he would have gone 73 games. Thats half of the ML schedule of 154 games. Seriously, Tim, this just doesnt seem like luck to me. I wish I had odds like that in Vegas. You see the word 'better' to me constitutes more than others opinions or mine or even stats. The issue for me as I see it's the way one presents their opinions or stats , it's respect and the semanitics used to describe a position regarding them, especially about those who are no longer in the limelight.
