Re: my spring training

>>> Since I still have a couple months I was wondering what drills I could do to help get me prepared. I can't use a lot of equipment. Don't have a bag ro anywhere to set up a bag. Since we have 3 inches of snow up here, I have been swinging in front of a mirror. My mechanics look almost like the ones in the Batspeed Mechanics section, even my stance is almost the same.
About the hip turner drill? Is there anything wrong with this drill? All you do is hold a bat behind your back and stride and twist. This should help me, but Jack has told us of some drills that may ruin our mechanics, such as the Two Tee Drill. Are there anymore drills like this that don't require any equipment? <<<

Hi Maximum

Max, if you have room to swing, you have room for a bag. It does not need to be anything special. A duffel bag filled with old cloths or sawdust will do just fine. Then you can really practice your “hip turner drill.” It will help your swing.
