> back in the 80's and early 90's the swing that was taught was at the high school, college, and professional levels was swing slightly down to the ball. I played professional baseball and I have had 4 batting titles throughout my career. I have played with a lot of big time players and they were taught the same. The swing today and how to achieve a high level swing is so advanced with VCR's, slow motion analysis, and gurus like Jack Mankin and Paul Nyman to help educate us on the subject. I can't believe that you are saying that this device ruined your swing . This sounds like to me an excuse for your lack of skill or real lack of understanding of what it takes to be a professional in this business.

i think there should be a limit to the amount of space devoted to someone pushing their product at this site..i think it's ok to put in a plug here & there, but i think this is getting out-of-hand...erick, i know how obnoxious you think teacherman is, and for that matter , many of us share the same opinion...however, i think it is totally out of bounds for you to make reference to his kid...as is frequently the case in youth leagues it is the parents, not the kids who do the fighting...keep the kids out of it...if jack will continue to allow you to defend your product, i would think that you should be able to do so without attacking someone's kid...exchanging personal insults with someone who probably deserves it is one thing, but keep the insults directed at the poster, not the kids...
