Hi Jack:

First, when learning a rotational mechanics swing wouldn't it be easier to generate more bat speed by narrowing your stance, possibly even slightly less than shoulder width; Second, is it fair to say that after mastering the inward turn to 10-12 degrees away from the pitcher and establishing timing the swing will take care of itself as body rotation will pull the hands through. Getting the top hand torque down would be the icing on the cake.
