This is where your mistaken…good hitters hit the ball where its pitched. If you cheat to try and hook the pitch away you will jam yourself on the pitch in…Is guessing a part of hitting, sure, when your ahead in the count.

I also think you are mistaken when you claim that coaches who try and force their will of hitting the ball to all fields squashing young hitters careers…if a kid can hit the kid will be in the lineup, EVERYDAY! What kills young kids career is 2-28’s. You go 2-28 by trying to pull all pitches! Are there exceptions, sure, but they are just that Exceptions.
