My daughter was using a Miken OKC. Not a bad bat but did not seem to have a big sweet spot. She used a 2005 Easton synergy in a tournament and it seemed to have a better sweet spot. After reading a review of a coach this year trying the new 2006 Snyergy's vs. the TPS catalyst's and prefering the Synergy, I ordered one untested. The bat is everything it is hyped. My daughter went 15 for 29 in the AFA national tournament with the 3 of her best rocket shots being caught. I used it on a hit-a-way and the sweet spot is up and down the barrel. I even think it hits better two to three inches below where the sweet spot should be. The best bat for 2006!
