Re: JACK -- Lead arm pull

>>> Jack, should the lead arm remain in the same place in front of the chest throughout the entire swing (stiff)? Or should it go up or down depending on the pitch? Would it be smart to point the lead arm in direction of the predicted final position of the ball, and just pulling with the back shoulder from ther? <<<

Hi Hitter

The lead-arm should stay in the swing plane from initiation to contact. Therefore, in their stance, most batters position the arm for a plane just above the knees and adjust from there for the actual height of the pitch. – I am not sure what you mean by, “and just pulling with the back shoulder from ther?”
