I was told that I might be rotating every thing at once and not leading with my hips, and then follow with my shoulders and knob end of the bat. Is this true , and if so how do I fix it? Also I seem to hit a lot of pop ups. If that means anything.

Man, the "too many popups" topic is amazingly prevalent when people just start out using rotational swings. Perhaps it's because the back elbow stays stationary, instead of shot out? Maybe excess dipping of the back shoulder, too.

Very odd.
