I teach that style, but that does not mean that there are not also good hitters that stride to a more firm front side. I have stated before that my study found no absolute lower body mechanic. Hitters use a variety of lower body mechanics to generate shoulder rotation. The absolutes are found in how that rotation of the shoulders is transferred into bat speed.

One size (swing) does not fit all.” – I am having trouble visualizing what you are saying. It would be helpful to the readers (and me) if you would name some clips and point out what you mean.

One pulls the bat through the hitting zone the other thrusts the bat through the hitting zone.
Check your Arod, Piazza, Puhjols, Molitor clips (not available on youthbaseballcoaching.com).
