I read on these boards that to hit the outside pitch the batter should focus on getting the bat-head around quicker and not do the inside out swing. Are there any drills or mental reminders that I can tell my son (11 years old) to help with the outside pitch. He tends to pull (or try to pull everything) most pitches which often results in a weak roller or pop-up on an outside pitch. BTW, he hit his first homerun over the fence 215 ft using the techniques taught on here. Not bad for a 70lb.er
