Thats waht i think. Im a 16 year old kid and carry above a 400 batting average in high school and legion.how could u improve from over 400 besides lifting wieghts and just getting stronger

It sounds like you are a good player. If your mechanics are good then yes getting stronger is key. Being strong will make you a better hitter because grounders will have more zip, pop-ups will have a better chance of being a homerun and so on. Please take this advice from me: build your physique from your legs up. I know that the bench press is the king when you're in high school, but the MONEY lies in the squats and deadlifts. They are in many top coaches and athletes opinion the REAL GAUGE OF POWER. Also do the bench press and abdominal work. Get a steroid head to teach you how to perform these exercises correctly and then do them. 10 sets of 10 reps for every muscle at a moderate weight considering your age will make you into a force to be respected. Or you can not do this and end up being a good player who eventually ends up in a factory welding steel together. I have a lot of respect for people who work hard, but I want what's best for you. Seriously do the work!!
