power

Hello, lately whenever I am batting I am swinging on time but I can never seem to hit the ball squarely and I am popping up a lot. My coach says that I have almost all my weight on my back foot and this is what is causing it. He says to shift some of my weight to the front side during my swing. I think this is also why I do not have so much power also. I mean I can hit the ball pretty hard but not very far. I know if I hit the ball squarely on the sweet spot with better mechanics I can send it for a ride. Any Information really helps. Thanks!
