have gone to clinics and coaches have spents hours with me on my swing but nothing
helps. I am a decent hitter with occasional weak ground balls but alot of pop-ups. I was
wondering if you could give me any advise at all. Thanks.

Scott-

Imagine you have just been taken to a new world like in the wizard of Oz.

The first question is "is it a good hitch or a bad hitch".

Understanding that takes a lot of work and a lot of communication and a lot of work at
good communication.a good relationship with someone besides yourself who can take the
journey with you.

A great step forward in improving communication is Jack Mankin's attempt to look freshly
at video to help explain what the essentials of a good swing are. That info is here.

Look at his mechanics illustrations.Get video of yourself.Find a good role model to
emulate and get video for comparison.Learn to communicate with others using video to
keep yourself honest and prevent degeneration into incessant arguing that becomes
nothing more than words and a fight to see who says what the words mean.

A great way to get jump started on the road to video analysis is a swing review by Jack
after/while becoming familiar with the descriptions here.

Is it a good hitch or a bad hitch ?
