Hi Mike:

I see what you are saying.

I have noticed that Barry Bonds went from a Mike Schmidt-like slugger (30+ home runs a season) to a Babe Ruth-like "behemoth," who, I believe, had a string of seven 40+ consecutive home run seasons.

Still, both are Hall-of-Famers.

Yet, it seems to be the difference between being "a god" the baseball pantheon, or being Zeus.
