Dear Ray/Tom/Dan,
> On Thu Dec 14 22:16:11 2000, I came across a segment in Ray Porco's post where he alludes to the video "The Science of the Swing" where Mac discusses his mechanics. Do you know where I can buy/purchase this video. Please respond as soon as possible. Thank you.

black hole lexicographer,

it was a 1 hour special hosted by james brown on the learning channel.
a friend made a tape and lent it to me. i gave it back to him without making a copy. it wasn't very scientific, BUT it was VERY enlightening. great footage and insight from the real deal.
edgar taking bp one-handed (lead arm)WITH a donut on his bat. training his eye, with an iron mike pitching him tennis balls at (i think it was) 150 mph.
clips of teddy ballgame, mantle, aaron, etc.
pretty funny seeing edgar and bagwell picking up the bambino's stick and the look on their faces.
great interview with boggs on the strike zone. he told about how his dad taught him to learn the strike zone. that he knew the plate is only 17 inches wide and that the pitcher must bring it across to be called and how he could tell if the ball was going to be over, just after it left the pitcher's hand.
great baseball. after all, isn't that why we're all here.

i asked my buddy to make me a copy - and - well - you know how that goes. as soon as i get it, or get more info, i'll let you know.
