Hey Scott,

You make a good point, Barry does talk about a lot of ideas that are considered linear.
He does however talk about some of the ideas mentioned in Mr. Mankin's video. For
example, maintaining a good balance point, and swinging the barrel to the ball instead of
pushing the handle and that leading with the knob will cause a slow swing. Honestly I
doubt that there are any "TRUE" hitting mechanics, just what ever style works for you.
