Hi Tim

Over the past year or so there have been a number of coaches and site owners who have posted their opinions on this site and left a link to theirs. In most cases they would respond to a hitting topic along with their link. What took me aback regarding your two posts was that their purpose had nothing to do with adding to the discussion. They were solely to promote your site.

When I decided to form Batspeed.com, I made the decision to stop posting on all baseball discussion boards. That was about 10 months before the site was brought online. I could not in good conscience post material I knew would be contrary to a sites batting philosophy while planning my own. Although I do not think ill of other owners that do, I have not to this day posted on another site.

Tim, I wish you and your site nothing but the best. I was not happy at all when Paul decided to close his board. Having 3 or 4 discussion boards with varying viewpoints keeps us all on our toes and is healthy for everyone’s enlightenment. I think your site will help fill that void.

Jack Mankin
