No. For many reasons ... mainly for counting on "wrist snap" to bring the bat out of the lag position. Try to wrist crank a -3 bat or a woodie. You'll see what I'm saying right away.

Some others?

Upright posture, no pre-swing coil/load/gather, little use of legs, lead elbow staying down, shoulders level to the ground, rear leg is overly rotated forward early in the swing, bat head in the lag phase is above the hands, overall swing plane is "down" which is following the "down" chin.


The kid looks like a marionette rather than an athlete. You'd get much more by reviewing the Swing Mechanics section on this website. Or by slo-mo video replays of ML hitters.
