Swing Plane Confusion

Hi Jack,

In perusing your web pages on "Truisms or Fallacies" I read about your level swing dilemma but didn't fully understand if the bottom of the swing arc should be level (paralel) to the plate or to the flight line of the incoming pitch.

If it is level with the pitch flight line, then am I correct in assuming the bat swing will have a slight upward arc to it?

Thanks for your time regarding this request.
