Visualize the pitch

Jack, I have been asked to assist with a high school team. upon observing multiple bad habits, the one that clearly sticks out is all hitters wait to see where the pitch is going before starting their process. Do you think if I was pitching tennis balls I would have this same observation ?( bad habit from a young age called fear )

What I have been attempting to preach to these kids is to visualize every pitch being a strike and then let it go.

Any other sugguestions ?
