Hi Sandman

I agree with Jack ,very hard to make evaluation from front side only but here goes.

I think this young man has a very good swing and heaps of potential. Counter rotation to me indicates movement back to the catcher before starting the swing towards the ball. I don't think he does enough. He needs more tht or scap loading to create more momentum into the swing.

I agree he initiates his swing way too early. This is the cause of the disconnection and overcompensating at the end of his swing.

A lot of kids start thier swing too early and end up with an arm swing

This is a good drill to stop the early rotation and get the feel of hitting at the right contact point

I would also practice no stride hitting untill his upper body is working right
