I have maple bats from Sam Bats, X Bat, and Louisville Slugger. All seem pretty durable. I'm can't quantify it but to me the Sam Bats have the best feel and balance. I certainly prefer hitting with them over the other brands. I would rank LS second, slightly ahead of the X-bat. I don't have any experience with Carolina Clubs so can't comment on those.
