Not as crazy as it sounds. 60 feet 6" are the prep team dimensions around here.

I still have my little league bat - the whole team used it. It is a thick handled 29" ash cudgel. Looks like something a caveman would use. That's what we had and what we learned to swing - certainly not by arm cranking nor wrist snapping it.

If you buy the -5 woodie, buy two, they'll break unless you are super diligent about orienting the grain.
