Hi Jack Mankin:

I do have a life outside of guru debates. Let's see...three pending publications in scholarly journals, a soon-to-be completed analysis showing how Archimedes' laws functions in Schakespearean tragedies, and a book on poetry which I am working on.

I am not trying to pit gurus against each other by using divide and conquer tactics, but want to discover certain commonalities between Hudgens, Nyman, Epstein, and Mankin.

My next topic will be...well, it is a topic that defies baseball wisdom.
