I am 17 years old and have thought about hitting lefty(right-handed naturally). I am very fast and would constantly beat out balls from the right side and many times found my self just a step short(in the umpires minds) and that is when the idea of hitting lefty come about. I currently have swung lefty some what and don't feel terrible, i do however struggle to make solid contact(i really have never hit live pitching just a few times on a machine). The biggest problem is my bat speed and timing. Is it to late to start hitting lefty? What could i do to improve my bat speed.
