Neither swing shown for softball at the "skilltechnologies.com" looks very good to me. The lead arm and bat are not a one piece extension of each other which I think is necessary not only from a consistency stand point but also needed to get that hook affect. It is hard to tell since they don't show the whole arm but it is pretty interesting site non the less.

I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion. The only thing I can figure out is you don't understand how the whip works and how it works in the swing.

The hips and trunk (legs) are the whip handle, not the arms or hands. The hands/bat recieve the momentum.

You have spent so time trying to debunk the whip, that I think you failed to understand how it works, and how it works in the swing.

The hands and arms are a link in the whip, but they are not the driving force in the swing.
