Hi Jack

The blur of the motion will give you the continuation of the swing but sometimes a person can miss seeing the hands postion and bat position. Have you ever used the Skill Technologies software? It allows you to move the body in a lot of different angles and the ability to isolate not only the hands and the bat but the rest of the body has some great advantages. The software allows you to get anglular displacement of all joints on graphs so yo can see the kinetic sequencing and x factor stretches of each swing.

I know from previous posts that you have not studied x factor stretch. The kinetic sequencing is exactly what you talk about with the big muscles doing the work and transfering up to the bat. I am hopefully going down to Phoenix in fall of 2005 and I am going to do some testing at the skill tech site. It will be very interesting to see how different styles of swing show up on the graphs.
