If you lay a bat down, barrel between your feet, take your hands off, and then re-grip the bat with both hands, the knuckles should line up naturally. Top knocker knuckles line up, between the large and knocker knuckles of bottom hand.
I'm sending you a clip. Please look at the knuckle alignment, esp., of Frank Robinson.
