daw,

In the interests of “…continuing discussion…” and since I have asked you a question to which I did not get an answer.

-----------------

Surely there will someday be---if there isn't already---a recognized psychological diagnosis for people who ignore and refuse to answer hard questions?

-----------------

Paraphrasing a member of another discussion forum :

Attributing neurosis or illicit subconsious motives to those the afflicted subject is unable to refute with evidence and rational argument, is the refuge of those that suffer from this disease. Pseudo psychology is often the weapon of choice in this polemic enterprise. In logical terms, this form of "pretend agrument" always results in the fallacy of argumentum ad hominem - "argument against the man," in both its abusive and circumstantial forms.

An aside to both you and Jack Mankin,

Your post…

http://www.batspeed.com/messageboard/output/19454.html

…was allowed to be posted Dec. 31, 2004 and then when it would appear that your post would be unread because of the normal monthly clearing of posts, it was resurrected by none other than the owner of the discussion forum.

Jack Mankin quote:
“There were a couple interesting posts below made on December 31 that I am bringing to the new year for continuing discussion.”

I would ask Jack, “what, if anything, does your post have to do with baseball?” and “what it is about your post that merits ‘continuing discussion’?” ,but I am quite sure that I would not get an answer.

I would also ask Jack why he would post something like this (not the first time and one of many):
http://www.batspeed.com/messageboard/output/7702.html
and then do what he did regarding your post? But again I am sure I would not get an answer.

I would also ask Jack why he would say this to JJA (please read the last line):
http://www.batspeed.com/messageboard/output/17387.html
And then this:

to me? But again………you guessed it.
