I'm not asking to evaluate THT or anythingf else. I've spent a lot of time lately trying to ascertain pro bat speed. A lot of slow pitch players get 100mph or more, but they have very clow swings - because they can. When quickness is a consideration, there are tradeoffs, I think, and I'm trying to wade through that. <<<

The last time I worked with John (over a year ago) his bat speed was in the low 80’s. He invited me to discuss batting mechanics with a few minor league players he was working with. A couple of his AA players had reached 90. John is very competitive and we discussed what it would take for him to reach that level. As I mentioned earlier, he said in call he was now in the low 90’s.
