Think about it this way with an even more extreme example. One person is your average joe... the other is a giant. No, I don't mean a SF Giant, I mean a giant a la jack and the beanstalk.

Now, why is it that we assume the giant will be able to hit a ball much much further? I believe it is (mainly) because of the size of the bat he would be using. I believe steroids, for example, can help a batter by allowing him to use a bigger, heavier bat thus increasing the mass that is hitting the ball.

Now, imagine two bats swinging in space without anybody holding them. If they are identical and are swung at the same speed, the ball is going to go the same distance. So, to answer your specific question, I do not think there would be a difference.
