mb, If you have a bunch of clips, look them over and you will find that the bathead is in front of the hands on pulled balls, even with the hands on balls hit to center and a little behind on balls hit the other way. Don't really care about what physics says, but I do enjoy looking at the 150 or so clips that I have of big leaguers taking big league swings. 60 frames per second and stopping the swing at impact.....not little grounders to the shortstop, but balls ripped to all parts of the park. More later.....

The barrel of the bat is always behind the hands!!!! Don't be fooled by the location of the pitch with this and your eye's!!! Here is the diffrence. The hands do not leave the body until after contact!!! So to hit the inside pitch....you have noticed, I see....just how much further the hands must travel in order to do this....But, the hands do lead the barrel to CONTACT!!! well if you wanta be the best hitter with the most pop that you can be and have!! jeff
