My only concern is that most would think that you must 1st move forward(LUNGE)to create this....and LUNGE is a bad word for a hitter. What he wants is some hip action to occur...and the hip action is so important!!! SO maybe he should just say Give me some hip action!! This is best illustrated by taking your hand( just one hand) and holding the handle of a bat. The thumb would represent the front hip and the index finger the back hip. Now explain, as you demonstrate by rotating your hand forward on the handle, how the back hip moves forward as the front hip moves back. Also, remember the stride is to transfer the weight BACK. Now the Resistance with the back side working against or opposite of the front side creates that back side Torque.....jeff
