When talk is about Accumulators, Barrels, Combinations and such, one is basically speaking about the 4 power sources in the swing.

How can the hands be a power source in THT? The hands in themselves are weak. The hands are nothing but clamps to hold the bat. The subject is "Power accumulators" and their release through impact.
BTW THT I describe as a right wrist throw into a full sweep release.
