Daryl, what are you ranked in Baseball America's top 350 '05grads?

I was just at the WWBA World Championships in Fort Myers and saw Justin Upton play a couple of times along with all the other top players who are expected to go in the top 3 rounds this year. None have hit 4 home runs in a game and the only one I know who has hit three in a game is Cameron Maybin, the projected #2 pick in the 2005 draft. I'm interested in finding out who you play for and who you are.

The purpose of my post was not to brag about my performance, talent and credentials. The purpose of my post was to thank Jack. Thank you Jack.

> Dave, I sense a note of jealousy in your comments. I have heard many success stories of hitters who caught on to Jack;s principles immediately. Just because it took YOU years doesn't mean others can not vatch on quicker. Rather than being jealous of someone else's success, perhaps you should examine your own approach and why you have apparently been struggling. Maybe you should get some one-on-one help from someone who knows Jack's philosophy. If it has taken you years, obviously you have been missing something.

I coach a U14 fastpitch team. We began working on rotational mechanics based totally on this site this fall. Some of our kids are struggling, others are getting it more quickly. We have a very good slapper, but a tiny kid who could barely hit the ball out of the infield when she took her regular cut, which is why she took to slapping in the first place. She picked up on rotational mechanics quickly, did well with it in practice, and last tournament jacked a one-hop liner to the fence. Now she wants to swing away! It's making big differences for our other hitters too, but that's the most dramatic. I don't doubt that it will take a lot more work to get and stay consistent, and mechanics don't matter unless the player has talent, but I have no doubt that the rotational mechanics---including top hand torque---on this site are the way to go. Thank you, Jack.
