I don't know how much the wrists are involved, but they must transfer the energies into the bat.

I think we all know the THT and BHT are terms to describe the transfer of the energies involved. They are mechanical means to transfer the bodies energy into the swing.

I don't take them to mean they generate great bat head speed by themselves or by the wrists alone, but they do transfer the energy to the bat.
