Re: Making Contact

I'm curious to know if anyone knows of any ways to consistently make contact? I feel as if I have vastly improved my swing, and if I can consistently make contact, I'd be is very good shape. I know this because every time I DO make contact, I hit the ball very far.

Many that are not making contact never get into the launch position early enough. While the definition of the launch position goes beyond the scope of your question, the simple cue that I have seen put a significant bandaid on the problem during BP is "get your front foot down early". Missing the ball is usually a late launch( among a potentially long list). For people that grow up playing sports, I think hand to eye drills are silly . Most kids can "see it and hit it" but the proper swing mechanics must be taught. Separation of the stride and swing is another way of saying it.
