There are too many people on this site that are saying the Cardinals' hitters are not using rotational mechanics because they struggled for 4 games. You guys are going off the deep end. What I saw was some guys swinging at bad pitches, guys getting balls thrown by them (Edmonds), and guys swinging under certain pitches. I have a feeling that they STILL USE ROTATIONAL MECHANICS. You have to give credit to the pitching because if a pitcher has such good stuff and you can't pick the ball up soon enough and take a good hack at it, it doesn't matter what mechanics you use. Sometimes, you go to the ballpark and the ball is the size of a golf ball and other times it is the size of a beach ball. Figure out how to fix that problem and you might get a job with a big league club. The Cardinals didn't hit because they were outmatched by Boston's pitching.
