It shows the bat-head accelerating back toward the catcher as the forearm was being pulled back from loading the scap. I asked several times if “scap loading” was just to the load the muscles for the swing? Or, was it also to accelerate the bat-head, as with Pre-Launch Torque and THT, which Paul claimed, did not exist. I never received a clear answer.

. Hello Jack...while I know I have a love for the terms and the science I favor application and taking it to the fields in an understandable useful set of cues and demonstrations.
If BHT is the arch that applies the bottom hand pliometric leverage that yields that amazing launch power then it does exit. Without the upward big muscle leverage, I have a hard time making the hands do it.
If tht is scap loading or as Bonds calls it "getting in the punching position ...it too is a very necessary action to get the upper body loaded to be in position to have a CHP.
I see different terms for similar actions. I must admit I could not see/feel BHT until I bent to toe touch and lift /rotated out getting more pull through big muscle leverage for my bottom hand. For me it does take the big muscles to best execute that bottom hands feel. Also getting to the "punching psoition " cannot be done with a dead rear shoulder ( again is it hand THT or shoulders)
Your explanations and comparisons were excellent. To let you know ...I have been reading this for ( well you know how long) and I just now really "get it" in terms of terms.
Thanks,
Donny
