I asked several times if “scap loading” was just to load the muscles for the swing? Or, was it also to accelerate the bat-head, as with Pre-Launch Torque and THT, which Paul claimed, did not exist. I never received a clear answer.

Jack, To me it is to load the muscles for the swing so you can apply tht more completely,[no slack].Some feel that the scap load is also going on during the application of tht and it may be; but the key to it for me, is that the muscles get in the right position[power position] to apply tht.There are a number of [power positions] along the swing but they come back to being connected as you have pointed out.
