Can someone tell me the formula on figuring out pitch speed from various distances ...

Distance = rate / reaction time
Therefore, divide rate by distance to find reaction time. To find the equivelant speed from a longer distance, just plug in the reaction time and the distance and solve for rate.
There's probably a simpler way but this is how I've always done it.
